Forming oil film of ultra thin oil layer when contact points are closed,

How to select the proper switch contact grease?
The electronic switch used as a sliding contact lubricating oil demands the same conditions as that required by any sliding mechanism: high oil film strength, appropriate range of high and low temperature, capacity of stay fixed position.
What is special is it must avoid abrasion.
The abrasion debris produces two problems: It interrupts the electrical current when the switch is in contact, increases sudden drop of Micro Volt“ MV;
When the switch is separated, the conductive abrasion debris causes the problem of open circuit resistance”OCR”.
The switch property will be affected no matter which situation happens.
When selecting lubricating oil, you should also pay attention to the viscosity of base oil to meet the contact force of switch.
Low current/low contact force application needs low viscosity base oil,
high current/high contact force application needs high viscosity base oil.
